Vital Response conducts two courses, an accredited short training course and an education session that can be run concurrently to meet the needs of the participants. Vital Response conducts progressive assessment throughout the course including practical demonstrations, true/false scenarios and short answer questionnaires.

anaphylaxis first aid trainingThe course is aimed at a person assisting someone who is having an anaphylactic reaction (allergic reaction) until the arrival of medical assistance. 

The course is based on the assumption that the person having an anaphylactic reaction has his or her own EpiPen®.

Recognise the signs and symptoms of an allergic reaction/anaphylaxis
Common allergens · Manage an allergic reaction/anaphylaxis
Use an EpiPen®
Identify and understand an Anaphylaxis Action Plan 
Risk Minimisation
