Below we shall outline the basics to getting started with the Vital Response Online Training System from purchase through to the final exam.
Purchase the course
To purchase the online course HLTFA301B navigate to the FIRST AID TRAINING - ONLINE TRAINING then Apply First Aid. Click on this link will take you to the course page and give the option to 'PURCHASE THIS COURSE'
Click this button will add a course to your cart.
Now that the course has been added to the COURSE CART it's time to view the cart. On this page you will be able to remove items or add multiple quantities to the cart. If you are a business purchasing multiple course logins for staff, please just add the number of courses you need.
Later in the process of filling out the CHECKOUT FORM we will ask you to add the user names and emails for each staff member.
TIME TO CHECKOUT - Clicking on the CHECKOUT button will take you to a form you will need to complete to process your purchase.
Please fill out all the required fields, including email address, name, address and other essential information for Vital Response to process your order.
PAYMENT METHODS - Vital Response is using PayPal as it's main method of payment because it's so widely used, accepts most credit or debit cards and is secure.
In addition to this you can make your purchase by Bank Transfer or by sending Vital Response a cheque.
MULTIPLE COURSE PURCHASE - this is a special field for you to provide us with informaiton on multiple course purchases. If you are a business or company that needs to supply multiple staff with first aid training, please provide the list of USERNAMES and EMAILS for each person.
QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
As part of the Vital Response website there is a large reference section. Within this part of the website you can quickly get information on different health conditions that are covered in the Vital Response training programs.
Feel free to navigate to any subject you are interested in.
ONLINE TRAINING SYSTEM
Once you have received your username and password you are able to log into the Online Training System.
On the left side of the screen you will notice additional navigation appear for each of the modules in the course. Use these to navigate your way to away part of the course.
You will also notice the FINAL EXAM box appear. Once you have read through the information in the course you can undertake the exam.
Working your way through all the content of the Online Training System is easy! Once clicking on a module you'll be taken to individual pages that are presented like the pages in a book. Simply next the next page to see the next subject, go back a page with the reverse button or return to the start of the module with the 'Start of Module' button.
You can also use the top navigation menu to find all the pages. In the top menu you will see a button labelled MY COURSES this gives you access to modules, final exam and the certificate of online completion.
CERTIFICATE - Once you have completed the final exam successfully will be promoted to print a 'Certificate of Online completion'.
Please note that once you have completed the final exam successfully this is only half of the process to achieving the HLTFA301B - Apply First Aid certificate. You must complete a day of face to face training with a member of the Vital Response staff.
